well what can you say? We rocked up on the bikes and we're met at reception by an absolute star of a lady, she was genuinely friendly and so helpful, sets a great tone to the whole stay. Went to our room, which was large and clean, king size bed as well, dumped the kit and straight for food. We sat in the bar had a drink and ordered food, again the staff in their are great and friendly ..........WOW, now I'm a greedy man but the starter course of chilli nachos was huge, I struggled with the Chicken Swarmas but both courses were simply gorgeous. My veggie other half ordered the Mushroom burger and was equally impressed. Have added this hotel to my favs on booking com and will definitely be back.Never got to use the Leisure facilities but next time we will for sure.

It was very clean and we had everything we needed. Great staff and very helpful and polite, we had a slight leak in the bathroom and we was upgraded instantly without any fuss and without us asking. The leisure / spa facilities was great, great sized pool, steam & sauna rooms were of adequate size also the jacuzzi was large, great relaxing area/room off to the side of the pool which is a nice touch. Beds were comfortable and had no issues in getting a good nights sleep, bar area was nice with two different areas to chose from also an outside area with plenty of seats. Breakfast was great with fresh food being replenished when needed. We will definitely be coming back 10/10

Its an old Hotel and a little dated, however that became part of the charm!! But to be honest what made our mini break amazing was the staff!!! A real credit to your hotel!!! They couldn't do enough to make our stay amazing! From walking in to the reception for the first time and being greated with a genuine smile and welcome by the reception team to the bar /waitress lady who was just as welcoming! To the fitness center staff being just as amazing with Steven going over and above to make our stay brilliant!!! Even the house keeping team greated us with a friendly and enthusiastic " good morning " as we passed them in the corridor. Will definitely be back !!!!

The area the hotel sits in was lovely, very pretty. The hotel had a good feel. Nice size hotel, the staff were excellent nothing was to.much trouble. The restaurant staff were the best, a special mention to.keira and Ava who worked this bank holiday weekend. The leisure centre was very good , the therapist Demi we had on Saturday for our treatments was excellent. when staying, make sure you check out facilities and the offer for afternoon tea. Highly recommended this hotel.

Everywhere was clean and beautifully decorated. Especially the lovely bar and restaurant. The food is amazing. Coffee is pretty good. I made full use of the spa. Super friendly staff. I left my sunglasses and phone charger and Anna has gone out of her way to let me know that she has them and they’re sending on to me this week. I have stayed here before many years ago and it’s even better now. Will be back for one of their 90s party nights with a friend 🤩
